New supply voltage generating circuit having high PSR at frequencies up to 1 GHz for emerging 5G transceivers

ICSL (Prof. Jaehyouk Choi)’s paper “An External Capacitorless Low-Dropout Regulator with High PSR at All Frequencies from 10 kHz to 1 GHz Using an Adaptive Supply-Ripple Cancellation Technique” has been accepted for publication in IEEE Journal of Solid-State Circuits, which is the most prestigious journal in the field of semiconductor circuits. The authors are Younghyun Lim, Jeonghyun Lee, Suneui Park, Yongwo Jo, and Jaehyouk Choi*.

In this paper, an external capacitor-less low-dropout regulator (LDO) that provides high power-supply rejection (PSR) at all low-to-high frequencies was presented. This LDO was designed for RF transceivers with a high data bandwidth, such as an LTE or an emerging 5G transceiver.
