Two papers of CISSR group accepted to FAST 2019
Two papers have been accepted for publication at FAST 2019. One paper is co-authored by
Olzhas Kaiyrakhmet, Songyi Lee, Prof. Beomseok Nam (Sungkyunkwan Univ.), Prof. Sam H. Noh, and Prof. Young-ri Choi, and the other paper is co-authored by Moohyeon Nam, Hokeun Cha (Sungkyunkwan Univ.), Prof. Young-ri Choi, Prof. Sam H. Noh, and Prof. Beomseok Nam (Sungkyunkwan Univ.).
A research paper entitled “SLM-DB: Single-Level Key-Value Store with Persistent Memory” proposes a novel KV store, the Single-Level Merge DB (SLM-DB), which takes advantage of both the B+-tree index and the Log-Structured Merge Trees (LSM-tree) approach by making the best use of fast persistent memory.
A research paper entitled “Write-Optimized Dynamic Hashing for Persistent Memory” proposes Cacheline-Conscious Extendible Hashing (CCEH) that reduces the overhead of dynamic memory block management while guaranteeing constant hash table lookup time.
FAST (USENIX Conference on File and Storage Technologies) is one of the top conferences in the field of computer systems.
